Are you getting "project natal" ?

I hate the wii and everything to do with it ( with the exception of Da Blob ) so when microsoft announced "project natal" i thought it was going to be terrible!

But after reading and watching many videos and reviews it seems alright, its far supperior to the wii as its camera measures depth and RGB colours aswell as having a microphone. The graphics put the wii to shame and its said to be " far more responsive than the wii" but with all these features will it be enough for peeple to want to buy ?

For me it will not replace gaming with a controller but i might give it a go, depending on how it looks closer to release date!

I saw the ad for Natal on YouTube and it looks fantastic. Just not sure about the price though...

Gaymachine motion plus detects depth and the Gaymachine is very responsive with it. People who want this type of thing with buy a Gaymachine because it already had tons of games which utilize it and it is the main selling point of the system. Personally, I thinks its just a gimmick that wont do very well once people get over the novelty.

Yeh thats true, i think after all the comotion people with an xbox would rather beat someone down on halo 3 or knife someone on cod with a good old fashion controller

Natal will be compatible with your pc aswell and will offer many more things then just gaming and Gaymachine has one fatal flaw ( well many but the greatest is..) ITS GRAPHICS!

Besides a 360 is generally cheaper than Gaymachine and will soon offer casual eeeww and hardcore gaming

I think it is a mistake to try to beat the Gaymachine at is own game (casual gaming), xbox should focus on hardcore. Besides, if you want to get up and move GO OUTSIDE. Why wait to wave at some pixels when you can wave at anyone right now.

i just read somthing about the natal technology its amazing it uses infra red sensors to map out the entire room and its inhabitants it has two cameras for binocular vision and is so acurate it can apparently pick up on finger movments and facial expresion. some developer called lionhead has aparently made a virtual person game called milo and kate were u can talk to atificial people that will base their comments on your facial expresion (so ive heard)
