How to Become a COD Knife Master

Step 1: Now you may be asking yourself questions like 'what is knifing?' and 'what is COD?' Answering these types of questions is the first step to becoming a better player. COD is an abreviation for Call Of Duty (a popular video game series) and knifing is the action of stabbing or slashing in order to kill an opponent. This particular guide is written for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Step 2: The second step is to locate the button which activates the knife. This could be any button due to different layouts but i always find trial and error an effective method. Once located, press the button a few times to get a feel for it.

Step 3: Now you must find an opponent to knife, aim directly at them and press the predetermined button. 'IT DIDNT WORK!' i here you cry but no need to worry there are several reasons why this could occur:
1. You were too far away to knife. The range of the knife is quite small so do not try to knife from across the map again Laughing

2. You have terrible lag which resticts you owning ability.
3. You pressed the wrong button.
Whatever the reason, keep trying and this brings me to the last step...

Step 4: Practice. By doing the numerous times you will begin to instinctively knife and may one day be able to knife with your eyes closed like me.

I just don't appreciate being publicly ridiculed by someone just because they don't find my tutorial useful. I think that they should stop and consider the possibility that not everyone knows how to knife in COD and stop assuming that i made this tutorial purely for their benefit.

i found that if you move back just before you stab someone you stab them fasterr

I believe you stab at the same speed all the time unless you use tactical knife.
here is my best knife class:

Primary: Any sniper(for ghillie)
Secondary: Desert Eagle w/ tactical knife
1. Marathon Pro
2. Lightweight Pro
3. Commando Pro

the rest doesnt really matter
